Marek Kundlák is born, lives and creates Bratislava, although he also lived and worked in Edinburgh. He studied theater dramaturgy and devotes himself to a wide range of artistic expressions from writing librettos, texts and translations through theater dramaturgy, directing, performing, composing theater, film, concert music, and playing experimental instruments, to cooking, gardening, and working with wood. He worked as a project manager for the SND Opera and currently works for Slovak Radio as a music dramaturg. He will interpret his own translation of Jürgen Rendl’s texts at JAMA.
