Viktor Fuček (SK)

Architect and graduate of the Studio of Conceptual Creation at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. He is currently continuing his doctoral studies at the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica. His dissertation research is focused on the connections between performance and architecture. He creates works in which he pushes the boundaries of what is usually perceived as architectural space and shows how experimental procedures can help to find new strategies to solve the challenges of contemporary society. His work has been presented at individual and group exhibitions both in Slovakia and internationally. He was shortlisted for the Oskar Čepan Award (2015) and the Novum Foundation Award for Professionals (2018). He is currently an assistant in the INTRA research project at Die Angewantde in Vienna.
