Svätopluk Mikyta (SK)

Svätopluk Mikyta is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Stuttgart, and a recipient of a DAAD scholarship at the Universität der Künste Berlin. In 2008, he received the Oskár Čepan Award, which is given to young Slovak artists. He currently leads the Drawing and Graphics Studio at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Brno University of Technology. In addition to his own artistic work and teaching, he is active as a curator and dramaturge for the residency platform Banská St a nica, which he co-founded. At JAMA 77, he will present a sound performance titled Rinčanie.
